In his interview to the Rada TV Channel on Thursday V. Lytvyn reminded that people’s deputies took 40 decisions at the plenary meeting on October 16 and stated that the Parliament worked efficiently and made quality decisions.
According to the Head of the Parliament, amendments to the State Budget of Ukraine for 2012 in the part if increasing the expenditures were made by several laws. In particular, V. Lytvyn informed that the National Academy of Sciences, coal industry and healthcare sphere - “the sensitive areas of our life” – would receive additional costs.
V. Lytvyn said that important is also the law on procedures and practices of registering legacy that grants such powers to local councils. The Head of the Parliament noted that he discussed this legislative act not only with parliamentary factions, but also with the President and the Prime-Minister of Ukraine.
Among other important items adopted by the Parliament the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada named the bill on agricultural cooperation and prolongation of the moratorium to sell agricultural lands.
